When it comes to communication in this business with your prospects, the phone line might be one of the most important tools but email is definitely right there on top too. But many network marketers are not utilizing this tool enough or using it correctly to improve the way they do business. Here are some tips on how to use emails properly.
First thing you should address is the frequency of sending out emails. It is currently acknowledged that thrice a month is the optimal number of emails that you can send out a month. Less than that and you might lose opportunities. On the other hand, if you send emails very frequently, you would get higher unsubscribe rate.
Admittedly, the thrice a month figure is not perfect for every business. To find the best fit for your business, use advanced metrics and keep track of unsubscribe rate and similar figures.
The second thing to look at when working on email correspondence is the subject. Email marketers would tell you that subject lines which are written to sell stuff perform poorly. This is because your email would look spammy and many subscribers would not read it and instead mark it as spam even if they have subscribed to your newsletter.
The address is also very important. Getting you or your company’s name out there is therefore very important because you can use it on the email. People would be more trusting if they know your name or your company and it is indicated in the email they have received.
